Describe an app. Get it live on Firebase.
- 01
Describe it
Tell the agent what to build: a website on Next.js or a mobile app on Expo. It works in a live workspace and shows the preview as it goes.
- 02
Watch it take shape
The preview reloads on every change. Adjust the design, set environment variables, or open the code and the terminal when you want to.
- 03
Wired to your Firebase
The agent designs content types in Firepanel, seeds sample data, sets Firestore and Storage access rules, and can switch on Authentication.
- 04
Publish it
Websites go live on Firebase App Hosting in your own project. Mobile apps build with Expo for Google Play and the App Store. Every checkpoint can sync to GitHub.

Two kinds of app, one workspace
Websites
- Built on Next.js, in a monorepo that can hold several apps
- Live preview that reloads on every change
- Published to Firebase App Hosting in your own project, scaling to zero
- Secret variables go to Secret Manager, never into the code
Mobile apps
- Built on Expo, previewed in a phone frame and in Expo Go on your phone
- Android and iPhone builds with Expo EAS, with submission to the stores
- A build takes about 10 to 20 minutes
- You bring your own Apple Developer and Google Play accounts
What the agent can do
It works only inside the app it is building and the code that app shares, and never touches your .env files.
Code
- Reads, writes and edits files
- Runs commands in the workspace
- Looks at the page and its console errors
Your data
- Designs content types in Firepanel
- Seeds realistic sample documents
- Reads and updates the records it created
Access and indexes
- Sets Firestore access rules per collection
- Sets Storage access per folder
- Creates the composite indexes your queries need
Firebase
- Switches Authentication on, with password and social sign-in
- Deploys Cloud Functions (HTTP, callable and Firestore triggers)
- Declares environment variables and asks you for the values
Hours of Build on every plan
Counted per month against the project owner's plan.
Developer
30 min / mo
Startup
20 h / mo
Agency
100 h / mo
Good to know
- Publishing and Cloud Functions can need the Blaze plan on your Firebase project. Build tells you when it does.
- The terminal is for owners, admins and developers. Editors work with content.
- Restoring a checkpoint puts the code back. Data, content types and variables stay as they are.
- Scheduled functions are not supported yet.
- Mobile apps cannot hold secrets, so they only get public variables.
