Built by a team that ships with Firebase

Firepanel is built by the team at Hypnotic Agency. For years, Firebase has been our go-to backend for client work — especially mobile projects and anything that needs to scale. It's fast to build on, it grows with the product, and it just works.

But every project ended the same way: we'd ship something we were proud of, and then have nothing decent to hand over to the client for managing their own content. The Firebase console is a developer tool — powerful, but never meant for end users and editors. Asking a client to edit raw documents in a database tree wasn't an option.

We looked for a tool that would let us spin up a nice-looking admin panel on top of Firebase and hand it over with confidence. We didn't find one. So we built it.

Real client projects rarely have simple, flat data. Ours needed genuinely complex structures — components, nested components, and arrays of components inside components. Most tools fall apart at that point. Firepanel was designed around it from day one, making complex schemas and data structures feel easy instead of exceptional.

And because we were always onboarding projects that already had data in them, we built something we couldn't find anywhere else: Firepanel can auto-generate a schema from your existing Firestore data — and keep updating it as your data evolves. No manual modeling pass, no restructuring, no starting over.

Some of these features are exclusive to Firepanel. They don't exist elsewhere — not because they're impossible, but because you only think to build them after enough late nights shipping real Firebase projects.
